I was commissioned to do mug designs for each major city in SE Alaska. Each one depicts my impression of what each town has to offer by way of tourist attractions. In Ketchikan's case, these include Deer Mountain, Totem Bite, orcas and eagles, the waterfront full of fishing trollers, and the First Lutheran Church, built by and for the influx of Norwegian fishermen and their families in 1930.
