When I first started guiding in the mid seventies, a person could find remnants of structures and rotting totems in remote locations of SE Alaska if you knew where to look. About all that remains now are some fish traps made of rocks in intertidal zones. I imagined this totem in one of those locations where a fish camp used to exist.
